MetLife Stadium sits in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford. The rail connection is the Meadowlands Rail Line, which runs from Secaucus Junction to the Meadowlands station next to the stadium on game and event days only, so there is no regular daily train.
From Manhattan the usual path is a train to Secaucus Junction, then the Meadowlands shuttle train when it is running for an event. NJ Transit also runs game-day buses from Port Authority Bus Terminal for many events. Always check NJ Transit for the specific event service before you travel.
