Secaucus Junction is NJ Transit’s great transfer hub in the Meadowlands, where most rail lines meet on two levels. Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast trains run on the upper level, the Main, Bergen County and Pascack Valley lines on the lower level, and Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton trains pass through on their way to New York. Some Raritan Valley Line and Gladstone Branch trains also stop here on direct runs to and from New York Penn Station. A single transfer here connects most of the network.

Almost every train through Secaucus is headed to or from New York Penn Station, one stop to the east. Track numbers are generally posted well before departure, and NJT Tracker shows yours the moment it is announced so you know which level and platform to head for.

On game and event days, a short Meadowlands Rail Line shuttle runs from Secaucus to MetLife Stadium.
