Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the independent developer of NJT Tracker ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use NJT Tracker. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with a parent or guardian's involvement.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use NJT Tracker for its intended purpose: planning trips and tracking NJ Transit service. You agree to:

Use the app lawfully and not interfere with or disrupt it or its servers.

Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or abuse the app or its data.

Be responsible for any account you create and for activity under it.
The app, its software, and its branding belong to us or our licensors. "NJ Transit" and related names and logos belong to NJ Transit, and other transit and map data belongs to its respective providers.
NJT Tracker may offer optional paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are sold, billed, and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — not by us.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are charged through your store account.

Cancel or manage a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your NJT Tracker account does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue store refunds directly.

We may change subscription prices or features going forward. Any change applies to future billing periods, not ones you've already paid for.
NJT Tracker is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NJ Transit. Schedule, routing, and real-time data is sourced from NJ Transit, OpenTripPlanner, and OpenStreetMap (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors).
All information is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep it accurate, errors, delays, and outages can occur. Always confirm critical travel details with NJ Transit directly.
These Terms are between you and us — not Apple or Google. The app stores aren't responsible for the app or for providing support, and they aren't parties to these Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You also agree to follow the terms of whichever app store you downloaded the app from.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. You use it at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed trips, lost time, or lost data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or the information it provides. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes, Termination & Governing Law
We may update these Terms as the app evolves; the effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. You can stop using the app at any time, and you may delete your account from within it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the app.
